Joy and Ray Tennison - April 18-May 1, 1998
Ray and Joy sailed on the Splendour of the Seas across the Atlantic for two-weeks from Miami with stops in St. Thomas, V.I.; Funchal, Madeira; and Tangier, Morocco, through the straits of Gibraltar and landed in Barcelona. Saw the sights and took a day trip to Montserrat then north along the Mediterranean. |

then Southern France and Italy
Joy and Ray Tennison - May 1998
We picked up a car (bought one, actually) in Barcelona where we did some sightseeing, went to Montserrat, then traveled along the coast of France to Avignon, Arles, Cannes, Nice, and to Monaco. We drove into Italy and visited Genoa, Pisa, Lucca, Florence, Bologna, Venice, Padua, Vicenza, Verona, Como, and finally Milan. A truly "Grand Tour." |

Italy, France & Belgium
Joy and Gail Tennison October - November 1997
Gail and Joy traveled first to Italy, then to France and finally Belgium.
We traveled by train. Landed in Milan, went to Venice, Rome, Pompeii, Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Paris, Versailles, Liege, Bruge and Brussels. We stayed in a convent in Rome and had adventures in most cities. Took an overnight couchette from Florence to Paris and were the houseguest of a friend of an acquaintance in Belgium who later visited us in the U.S. |

Alaska
Joy and Ray Tennison July - August 1997
We flew to Juneau and saw the sights for five days then caught a plane to Anchorage. Visited in Anchorage for a while, took a glacier cruise, and drove to Denali National Park looking for the elusive Mt. McKinley (hiding behind smoke & clouds). |
